(PLVN) - Not only demonstrating the role of exemplary party members in implementing the policies of the Party and the State, female party members are also shining examples in effectively managing and using policy capital, increasing family income, and contributing to local economic development.
In recent years, credit programs implemented by the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP) have contributed to improving the lives of many female party members, creating conditions for them to escape poverty sustainably and develop the family economy.
The first days of the new spring, coming to Cao Phong orange area (Hoa Binh province) is probably the most attractive time, when the orange and grapefruit gardens are full of ripe fruit on the branches and are being hastily harvested to be shipped to all regions. Another bumper orange crop has come to the farmers here. With the high economic efficiency that orange trees bring, Hoa Binh province has identified orange trees in particular and citrus trees in general as the main crops of the locality.
In recent years, in Cao Phong district, policy capital has helped thousands of households expand their acreage and take care of specialty fruit trees such as oranges, tangerines, grapefruits, etc. These gardens have high productivity and quality, contributing to helping poor and disadvantaged households escape poverty sustainably and become rich legitimately.
As an exemplary party member, Director Vu Thi Le Thuy - Head of 3T Farm Cooperative, Cao Phong town, was granted a loan of VND170 million twice by the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies. Ms. Thuy shared: “I feel really secure about being able to borrow policy capital because of the preferential interest rate, which is the seed capital to help the Cooperative buy means of transporting goods and deploy it to female members of the Cooperative so that they can reinvest in equipment for production and growing oranges.
From that leverage, the Cooperative has more support to develop breakthrough projects associated with local specialty orange trees such as the project "3T Farm premium orange gift associated with organic production chain for green living environment", the project "Experiential tourism - my orange tree".
Female party members exchange experiences when borrowing policy capital for economic development. |
In addition to raising the brand of Cao Phong oranges, as a party member, Ms. Thuy also actively participates in the activities of the Women's Union, sharing experiences in growing citrus trees, experiences in effectively and creatively using policy capital... to encourage and motivate local women to strive for economic development.
According to the report, in 2024, Cao Phong district had 2,340 households receiving loans from the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies for production and business. Through policy capital, nearly 1,250 clean water and rural environmental sanitation works were built, creating jobs for 534 workers...
In Ha Giang province, female party member Hoang Thi Mien, born in 1989, in Yen Lap village, Yen Thanh commune, Quang Binh district, is a typical example of effective use of loans from the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies.
Ms. Mien said that she has actively participated in local activities and demonstrated exemplary behavior in economic development. In 2019, she received a loan from the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies to implement a cinnamon planting project on an area of 4 hectares. The project is not only a strategic step in developing the family economy, but also a testament to the creative and effective application of loan capital to production.
Ms. Mien has used the policy loan capital reasonably, investing in growing cinnamon, a crop with high economic value, suitable for local soil and climate conditions. Cinnamon is not only a valuable crop harvested from leaves and branches, but also has long-term development potential. Every year, her family harvests from pruning cinnamon leaves and branches, bringing in an income of about 40 million VND. This amount of money helps improve the family's life and reduce the financial burden of living expenses and investment in other production activities.
Not only taking care of her family's economic development, Ms. Mien also shares her experiences and supports people in Yen Lap village, especially the disadvantaged households, in using loans to develop production, thereby contributing to the general economic development of the locality. Her exemplary role has spread the spirit of legitimate enrichment and responsibility in the community.
According to the assessment of the Quang Binh District Social Policy Bank, Ms. Hoang Thi Mien’s cinnamon planting project is a clear example of how borrowing money can help households escape poverty and stabilize their lives. Ms. Mien has demonstrated the role of an exemplary party member in implementing the policies of the Party and the State, while spreading the spirit of solidarity and sharing in the community.
It can be said that the vivid stories of the above-mentioned outstanding female party members show the dynamism, creativity and enthusiasm of female party members in using and effectively managing policy capital. Capital is not only a lever to help improve people's lives but also contributes significantly to local socio-economic development.
The successes of female party members are clear evidence that with dedicated leadership and synchronous support from all levels, loan management will achieve proud results, contributing to economic development and joining hands to build a beautiful and prosperous homeland.
