Three leading units in the field of nutrition and healthcare, Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company (Vinamilk), Vietnam Vaccine Center System (VNVC) and Tam Anh General Hospital, have signed a strategic cooperation agreement aimed at improving public health by combining healthcare and nutrition.

Key cooperation, creating practical values According to the objectives of the cooperation program, the activities will be implemented by the 3 parties in the following aspects: Health care, vaccination, improving immunity and comprehensive nutrition; communication and education on health improvement and further cooperation in research of specialized nutritional products for children and adults. Accordingly, the VNVC Vaccination System will work with Vinamilk to carry out activities to give away nutritional products such as Probi live yeast yogurt drink to help increase resistance, Vinamilk ColosGold nutritional milk drink... and vaccination discount vouchers for children coming to get vaccinated. In addition, VNVC, Tam Anh General Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City will coordinate with Vinamilk to organize communication activities, provide knowledge consultation on improving health with vaccines and nutrition for a variety of subjects such as pregnant mothers, children, the elderly, people with underlying diseases... Vinamilk's suitable products such as nutrition for the elderly Sure Prevent Gold, Green Farm fresh milk or Vinamilk nut milk will accompany these activities. It is expected that in the first year of cooperation, VNVC, Tam Anh General Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City will cooperate with Vinamilk to provide nutritional products, organize community activities, communicate education and provide health care consultation to people with a total converted value of up to 20 billion VND. In the first phase, the program will be implemented at 30 VNVC vaccination centers and expanded to hundreds of centers nationwide in the following phase. According to research, children and adults who are malnourished or have an inappropriate diet are at higher risk of chronic diseases such as obesity, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, osteoporosis, gallstones, cirrhosis, etc., which weaken the immune system, making it easier for infectious diseases to attack. Therefore, combining a reasonable diet and disease prevention with vaccines is extremely important, helping to strengthen the immune system, improve health, reduce the risk of infectious and chronic diseases, improve the quality of life and prolong life for people.

Taking care of Vietnamese people's health This strategic cooperation with the VNVC Vaccination System and Tam Anh General Hospital is part of Vinamilk's overall program to accompany nearly 200 hospitals, medical facilities and organizations across the country for many years, aiming to provide better care for community health. In addition to researching, developing and pioneering the application of new nutritional breakthroughs in products to improve health, Vinamilk is also an active unit in nutrition care and community health care activities through cooperation with medical units both at home and abroad. Typically, Vinamilk is currently coordinating with leading hospitals nationwide to enhance people's health care and, together with the Vietnam Chief Nursing Club, organizing in-depth training conferences for more than 2,000 Vietnamese nurses and medical staff at hospitals nationwide. In 2023, Vinamilk established the "Protecting Hands" club to support maternal and newborn health care with the Vietnam Midwives Association, and together with the Vietnam Association of Venous and Enteral Nutrition organized a series of conferences to improve professional capacity for nearly 400 doctors, nurses and clinical nutritionists...
