VietinBank joins hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Hai Duong province

On February 9, 2025 in Chi Linh City, Hai Duong Province, VietinBank held a ceremony to present funds to support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households in the area. The program is part of the campaign "The whole country joins hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" launched by the Prime Minister, with the goal of bringing a stable life to people facing housing difficulties.

At the ceremony , Mr. Do Thanh Son - Deputy General Director of VietinBank , representative of VietinBank, presented a sponsorship of 2.5 billion VND to Chi Linh City. This sponsorship will be used to build solid houses, replacing temporary, dilapidated houses, helping households have safe and stable housing.

Speaking at the event , Mr. Hoang Quoc Thuong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Chi Linh City, on behalf of the local government and people, thanked VietinBank ; and committed that the sponsorship money would be used transparently, for the right purpose, and in compliance with the provisions of law. Mr. Hoang Quoc Thuong emphasized : This timely and meaningful support not only helps the locality eliminate makeshift houses; but also motivates people to stabilize their lives.

Secretary of the Chi Linh City Party Committee Hoang Quoc Thuong also expressed his hope that VietinBank and other businesses will continue to accompany the locality in socio-economic development activities. This cooperation not only helps build housing for the people; but also opens up opportunities to attract investment, helping Chi Linh City to develop further .
