Vietnam wins big at the 2024 Oceanman Cam Ranh International Swimming Championship

The 2024 Oceanman Cam Ranh International Sea Swimming Tournament is part of the world sea swimming tournament system, attracting 1,000 athletes from 21 countries and territories to compete at the beautiful Bai Dai beach - Cam Ranh.

Former SEA Games champion Lam Quang Nhat shined in the 10km distance when he finished first after 1 hour 58 minutes 48 seconds, this achievement also set a tournament record. "I have stopped swimming professionally for many years and have not maintained the same swimming volume as before. Recently, I switched to triathlon (3 combined sports) focusing mainly on cycling and running. I still pay special attention to swimming after more than 20 years of training. Long-distance ocean swimming is also a specialty, so I am very happy with the victory in this tournament", Lam Quang Nhat shared.

Le Thi Nhu Quynh won the women's 10km race at the Oceanman Cam Ranh 2024 international sea swimming tournament

In the women's 10 km distance, another Vietnamese athlete, Le Thi Nhu Quynh, also showed her ability when surpassing foreign athletes, finishing first after 2 hours 31 minutes 03 seconds. The 2024 Oceanman Cam Ranh International Sea Swimming Tournament also gathered young swimmers and young record holders of the national Triathlon tournament such as Hoang Hai, Nguyen Thi Mai Nguyen, An Le, Tau Tran, Nhu Quynh... creating a fierce competition on the green race track.
