Commander of Regiment 720 and leaders of the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of Dak Nong Provincial Police presented gifts to poor families in Dak Ngo commune.

Also on this occasion, the propaganda and mobilization team presented 200 gifts worth 70 million VND to 200 households, and presented 4 gifts to 4 households who voluntarily surrendered their weapons. It is known that in recent years, Regiment 720 has done a good job of propagating and mobilizing people in the area to voluntarily surrender 171 homemade guns, 1 artillery shell, many detonators; actively mobilizing people not to trade, store or use drugs. At the same time, the unit coordinated well with the police force to solve many drug-related cases. On June 14, 2023, the unit was commended and awarded a certificate of merit by the Minister of Public Security for its outstanding achievements in drug prevention and control, contributing to protecting national security and ensuring social order.
