On the morning of May 27, the inspection delegation of the Central Military Commission's Steering Committee for the Implementation of Grassroots Democracy Regulations led by Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Gau, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission's Steering Committee for the Implementation of Grassroots Democracy Regulations inspected and grasped the results of the development and implementation of the Grassroots Democracy Regulations of the Party Committee of Army Corps 16.
The inspection delegation included Major General Ngo Thanh Hai, Director of the Department of Mass Mobilization, Standing Member of the Steering Committee for the Implementation of the Grassroots Democracy Regulations of the Central Military Commission, Deputy Head of the inspection delegation; Colonel Vu Hai Dang, Deputy Chief Inspector of the Ministry of National Defense; representatives of the Department of Finance, representatives of functional agencies of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army.

On behalf of the Party Committee and Command of the 16th Corps, Colonel Nguyen Van Trong, Political Commissar, Head of the Steering Committee for the implementation of the Grassroots Democracy Regulations of the 16th Corps Party Committee, reported on the results of the implementation of the Grassroots Democracy Regulations in the Corps Party Committee.
Since the beginning of 2022, the Party Committee and Command of the 16th Corps have led and directed Party committees and commanders at all levels to thoroughly grasp and implement resolutions, directives and regulations of the Party, the State, the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense and the Corps, and instructions from the General Department of Politics on building and implementing the Grassroots Democracy Regulations, and developing a plan for implementation in a systematic and effective manner, in accordance with the functions, tasks and actual conditions of each agency and unit.

Party committees at all levels regularly review and improve the system of documents, regulations, and rules, promptly supplementing new issues according to leadership documents, instructions, and guidance from above. Democracy in the leadership activities of Party committees at all levels is strictly implemented, and the leadership regulations for key work aspects are fully ensured.
Commanders at all levels strictly implemented democracy in the management and operation of agencies and units according to their assigned duties and tasks, and well resolved the relationship between the commander and the Party Committee Secretary and the Political Commissar at the same level. The democratic dialogue regime was maintained seriously and with quality. In particular, the Head of the Corps Command directly had 18 dialogue sessions, and the commanders of agencies and units had 50 dialogue sessions with cadres, soldiers, workers and employees. Mass organizations and military councils thoroughly grasped and concretized the resolutions, directives, regulations and rules of the Party Committee and commanders, and developed programs and action plans suitable to the unit's tasks.

Speaking at the conclusion of the inspection, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Gau assessed that the Party Committee and the Corps Command had led and directed the serious implementation of resolutions, directives and regulations of the Party, the State, the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense and the guidance of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army on the development and implementation of the Grassroots Democracy Regulations. Thereby, raising awareness among cadres, soldiers, professional soldiers, defense workers and civil servants, and laborers, creating solidarity, consensus and trust in the implementation of the unit's political tasks. Party committees and organizations at all levels have well implemented democracy in leadership activities, strictly implemented the principle of democratic centralism, done well in political and ideological education, and the quality of inspection and supervision work has been improved. Party committees and commanders at all levels always pay attention to, lead, direct and create all conditions for mass organizations and military councils to operate properly in their functions and tasks, and promote their role in building and implementing the grassroots democracy regulations in each agency and unit.

Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Gau requested the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, the Command, and the Steering Committee for the implementation of the Grassroots Democracy Regulations of the 16th Corps to continue to lead and direct Party committees at all levels to thoroughly grasp the resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels, direct competent agencies to review, study, and propose amendments and supplements to the working regulations, regulations on leadership of key aspects of the Party Committee of the Corps, regulations on working and assigning tasks to commanders. Promote administrative reform, digital transformation, and properly resolve the working relationships between Party committees, secretaries, and commanders at all levels. Promote the role of mass organizations and military councils to implement the regulations on supervision, criticism, and participation in building Party organizations and command organizations.
