In May 2009, Hoang Tuan Hospital Company Limited was established with the first facility being Hoang Tuan Medical Center at 33 Nguyen Hung Phuoc, Ward 1, Soc Trang City, Soc Trang Province. The center is modest with 4 doctors, 8 nurses, and technicians, carrying the great aspiration for a quality medical service right in the homeland.

In 2013, due to the increasing demand for medical examination and treatment, Hoang Tuan Medical Center moved to a new, more spacious facility at 80A Le Hong Phong - 27/6 Tran Hung Dao, Ward 3, Soc Trang City.

Hoang Tuan General Hospital is the first of 6 medical facilities belonging to Hoang Tuan Hospital Company Limited.

The next memorable milestone was on August 9, 2015, when the center officially became Hoang Tuan General Hospital with a scale of 60 beds, assessed and approved by the Ministry of Health. This is the first private hospital in Soc Trang, opening a new turning point for the medical development of Soc Trang province, especially in terms of medical socialization.

In 2023 alone, Hoang Tuan General Hospital received more than 700,000 outpatient visits, more than 10,000 inpatient treatments, performed more than 1,500 surgeries and welcomed more than 500 babies.

From one hospital to a network of satellite health facilities

Engineer Nguyen Hoang Tuan, General Director of Hoang Tuan Hospital Company Limited, once shared that the initial wish of him and his wife, Doctor Nguyen Ky Doan Nghi, Director of Hoang Tuan General Hospital, was simply to open a private medical facility to serve the people. With the philosophy of "How can everyone have access to good medical services at the most reasonable cost" and the slogan "Serving you is our honor!", Hoang Tuan medical system has gradually taken shape.

From a medical center with 4 doctors and 8 nurses and technicians, up to now, Hoang Tuan Hospital Company Limited has developed into a system of 6 medical facilities including: Hoang Tuan General Hospital receiving 1,600 - 1,800 outpatient visits per day; Hoang Tuan Nursing Center, an advanced model in cooperation with 2 Korean hospitals in transferring medical technology, research and treatment; Hoang Tuan Vinh Chau Medical Center brings medical services to remote coastal areas of Soc Trang province; Hoang Tuan Traditional Medicine Clinic provides traditional medical examination and treatment services for the general public and people convalescing at Hoang Tuan Nursing Center in particular; Hoang Tuan Occupational Health Center specializes in periodic health check-ups for businesses.

Hoang Tuan General Hospital currently receives 1,600 - 1,800 outpatient visits per day.

In February 2025, Hoang Tuan Hospital Company Limited will put into operation Hoang Tuan Hau Giang Medical Center in Nga Bay City, Hau Giang Province to mark the development of the system as it continues to expand its area.

In particular, the Hoang Tuan - Nga Nam General Hospital project (Nga Nam Town, Soc Trang Province) with a scale twice that of the current hospital, located at the intersection of the three provinces of Soc Trang, Hau Giang, and Bac Lieu, will officially start construction in April 2025 and is expected to be put into operation in the first quarter of 2027.

After nearly 16 years of establishment and development, Hoang Tuan Hospital Company Limited has made a strong mark in the medical picture of Soc Trang province.
