On November 10, on the occasion of the opening of a branch in Thanh Hoa, a delegation from the Center for Community Legal Advice and Legal Aid for Minors (hereinafter referred to as the Center) under the Central Committee of the Vietnam Lawyers Association visited and met with the leaders of the People's Court of Thanh Hoa province.
Attending the meeting, on behalf of the Vietnam Lawyers Association, were Mr. Tran Duc Long - Member of the Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice President of the Vietnam Lawyers Association; Mr. Nguyen Hong Tuyen, Member of the Standing Committee, President of the Hanoi Lawyers Association; Mr. Quan Van Minh - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Lawyers Association Branch - Director of National Law Firm No. 5, and comrades representing a number of departments, offices and units under the Central Association.
On the side of the Center for Community Legal Advice and Legal Aid for Minors, there was Ms. Dang Thi Thanh - Director of the Center, former Deputy Chief Justice of the Criminal Court - Supreme People's Court, former Chief Justice of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Court; along with comrades in the Center's leadership and a number of members and collaborators of the Center.
On the side of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Court, there were Deputy Chief Justices of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Court Ha Huy Hung, Nguyen Van Khuyen, and Le Thanh Hung.

Speaking at the meeting, Ms. Dang Thi Thanh - Director of the Center expressed her emotion and joy when returning to visit the People's Court of Thanh Hoa province - where she had worked for a long time.
Introducing some main features of the Center's activities and the opening of the branch in Thanh Hoa, Ms. Thanh expressed her hope that the branch will become a reliable address for local people and minors in need of legal assistance.
At the same time, we hope to receive support from local authorities, law enforcement agencies and relevant organizations to successfully complete assigned functions and tasks, with the goal of "all for the equality and development of children".
On that basis, the branch hopes to receive support and favorable conditions from the People's Court of Thanh Hoa province to operate effectively and successfully achieve the set goals.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Ha Huy Hung - Deputy Chief Justice of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Court expressed his joy at welcoming the delegation of the Vietnam Lawyers Association, the Center for Community Legal Advice and Legal Aid for Minors, and congratulated the Center on officially opening a branch in Thanh Hoa.

Emphasizing that the number and nature of cases handled by the People's Courts at two levels of Thanh Hoa province in recent times have been increasing rapidly, including many cases involving minors, Mr. Ha Huy Hung expressed his hope that immediately after coming into operation, the Thanh Hoa branch of the Center can soon promote its role in providing legal aid and consultancy to local subjects, contributing to the overall development of the province.
The Deputy Chief Justice of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Court also affirmed that on the basis of legal regulations, favorable conditions will be created for the Center's branches to operate effectively, especially participating in litigation and legal aid activities.
At the meeting, Vice President of the Vietnam Lawyers Association Tran Duc Long also expressed his gratitude to the leaders of the People's Court of Thanh Hoa province for supporting and creating favorable conditions for the Center's branch to operate.
At the same time, he expressed his hope that in the coming time, the Vietnam Bar Association, Thanh Hoa Bar Association and its branches will continue to receive support to operate effectively, contributing to ensuring security, socio-politics of the locality in particular and the general development of the Vietnam Bar Association.
