(GLO)- With his efforts in recent times, Mr. Phan Xuan Nguyen - Director of Sun Media GL Communications Company has proven that communications can not only create economic values, but also contribute to promoting the beauty of the homeland.

After more than a decade working at Gia Lai Radio and Television Station, Mr. Phan Nguyen realized that he needed to step out of his comfort zone and learn more to renew himself.

His curiosity about how famous directors create valuable works inspired him to apply for the Directing major at the University of Theatre and Cinema in Ho Chi Minh City. Although he had to take the exam twice to succeed, for him it was a worthwhile journey that opened new doors.

In his early days in Saigon, he was willing to do anything as long as he could learn the trade. And those experiences helped him accumulate knowledge and skills, paving the way for his future career.

Returning to Gia Lai after completing the course, Mr. Nguyen started his own career with Sun Media GL Communications Company. The relationships from his time working at Gia Lai Radio and Television Station helped him get his first clients. However, the pressure of human resources and the need to maintain his job forced him to change from a professional mindset to a business mindset.

Mr. Nguyen confided: “It is easy to make customers satisfied in a job, but to make them understand and appreciate the deeper value is another story. That requires me to put in five or ten times more effort. On the other hand, as the company grows, my thinking must also change. If I only keep the mindset of doing my job, I will definitely fail.”

Despite many difficulties in management and organization, Mr. Nguyen was fortunate to receive support from "professional" people around him. However, many times, he also felt lonely because he had great aspirations in his career but few people sympathized with him.

Mr. Nguyen has a special passion for beautiful films. Not only does he keep his enthusiasm to himself, he also often encourages Sun Media GL employees to "play the profession". Because he understands that only when people find joy in their work, can they pursue and stick with it for a long time. Whenever employees have ideas, just discuss them, he is always willing to support them to make them come true.

Not only does he keep himself young in mind, he also actively learns from people younger than him. “Most of my teachers and employees are young people. Generation Z is now very talented and creative, they are also the source of inspiration that helps me renew myself every day,” he affirmed.

When talking about the opportunities of the media industry in Gia Lai, Mr. Nguyen acknowledged: “Currently, the media industry in Gia Lai is developing quite well. Although businesses do not understand deeply, they are starting to have a clearer picture of media. In addition, according to statistics from Sun Media GL, the demand for young people to return to Gia Lai to find media job opportunities has also increased in recent years.”

For Mr. Nguyen, Gia Lai is not only his birthplace, but also a land that holds many values that he wants to spread. From gong culture, festivals to majestic wild nature... All are materials for him to freely create and tell the story of his homeland through each film.

It is not an exaggeration to say that Phan Nguyen is a free tourism worker for his home province, because that is also his love for the job and for this land. He uses that love to convey the beauty of Gia Lai to the public. To him, Gia Lai has a rusticity that cannot be found anywhere else.

What is done with love will bring very different results. Mr. Nguyen started with filming and loved the footage, which helped him create products that "touched" the audience. Many days, to film beautiful footage of clouds, mist, dreamy nature..., he had to "wait for the heavens" for many days.

For example, to capture the Chu Dang Ya volcano in the clouds - one of his most favorite projects - Nguyen patiently waited from 4am every day for 15 days. "The day I captured the moment when the lonely tree appeared, the sunlight shimmered through, and the clouds floated below. I held the flycam and flew up, feeling like my heart was beating a drum because of the moment I had captured" - Nguyen recalled the emotional work.

According to Mr. Nguyen, communication is not simply about conveying information, but also the art of connecting and touching emotions. Mr. Nguyen also confided that, to him, Sun Media GL is like a group of people who love their job, no one hires them but still do it, because of their passion. Perhaps that is why every film that he and his crew make has a strong appeal and influence.
