Foreign Trade University takes the floor score for graduation exam scores from 24

Foreign Trade University announced the admission score based on the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam (PT 4) for the main campus and affiliated facilities is 24 points for all corresponding subject combinations (including regional and subject priority points).

The school notes that for language majors (business English, business French, business Japanese, business Chinese programs), the admission score is the total score of the combination of three subjects: math, literature, foreign language and regional and subject priority points, if any (in which the foreign language score is multiplied by a coefficient of 1).

Candidates who meet the above score requirements can register their admission wishes on the Ministry of Education and Training's Admissions Portal from July 18 to 5:00 p.m. on July 30 to be considered for admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

The minimum score for admission is a combination of international language certificates and high school graduation exam results in 2024 (PT 3). In addition to the conditions announced in the school's 2024 enrollment plan and announcement, candidates need to meet the following conditions regarding high school graduation exam scores and foreign language certificate scores:

In 2024, the school plans to enroll 4,130 students for both its Hanoi headquarters and its affiliated campuses. In addition to opening a new computer science major, the school will also enroll students for the first time in an international business major, in collaboration with the University of Queensland, Australia.

Previously, on June 14, the Foreign Trade University Admissions Council announced the benchmark scores for early admission methods. In particular, the benchmark scores for considering academic records for national excellent students, provincial and municipal excellent students, and specialized candidates, the benchmark scores range from 26.25 to 30 points.

Admission method combines international language certificates and high school academic results/international competency certificates, standard score ranges from 25.5 - 29.5 points.

Last year, the admission score to Foreign Trade University based on the method of considering the highest high school graduation exam score was 28.5 for the D01 group for the Chinese language major - major in commercial Chinese, followed by 28.3 for the A00 group for the economics major - major in foreign economics and major in international trade, and 28.0 for the A00 group for the international economics major.

Basically, the admission scores for 2023 in all admission methods of the school are stable and not much different from 2022.
