The program opened on the afternoon of November 2, with the participation of Chairman of the People's Committee of Cu M'gar district, Mr. Vu Hong Nhat; The team of doctors and volunteers of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Buon Ma Thuot Hospital with 9 doctors, 42 teachers, nurses, technicians and nearly 50 volunteer students of the school and the volunteer delegation from Korea including 45 people who are civil servants, businessmen, volunteers of organizations in Korea including Jinan District Volunteer Center, Buddha's Volunteer Center (Jeollabuk Province) and Jung Gu District Volunteer Center (Daegu City). Including Mr. Kim Seong-Jin, Director of Hongje Oriental Medicine Hospital and Mr. Jeong Yun Seong, Director of Angel Hospital (Korea) participated.
Promoting the tradition of mutual support and kindness of the medical staff and students of Buon Ma Thuot University of Medicine and Pharmacy, strengthening the solidarity and friendship with the Jeonbuk Exchange Promotion Association (Korea). The medical staff and volunteers of the two countries organized Western and Eastern medical examinations and provided free medicine to about 1,000 people in difficult circumstances. The Jeonbuk-Vietnam Exchange Promotion Association (JVEC - Korea) is a unit that has participated in connecting many cooperation activities in many fields between Jeollabuk Province and Dak Lak Province since 2017. JVEC hopes to use this program to strengthen the friendly relationship between Jeollabuk Province and Dak Lak Province, creating a solid foundation for future humanitarian activities for local people.
Chairman of the People's Committee of Cu M'gar district, Dak Lak province, Mr. Vu Hong Nhat, said that the humanitarian medical examination and treatment program and charity gift giving program organized by the Working Group of the Jeonbuk - Vietnam Exchange Promotion Association in coordination with Buon Ma Thuot University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital and Phap Bao Pagoda was a very meaningful activity, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity, joining hands to contribute to the cause of caring for and protecting people's health, while contributing to strengthening people-to-people foreign relations with the sister locality of Jeonbuk.
