Vinh will also face very strong Chinese shooters such as Lang Xiaoya and Zhao Nan.

In athletics, athlete Tran Thi Nhi Yen will compete in the women's 100m qualifying round in the second group with 8 other competitors. The 3 runners with the best results in each group will advance to the first round. Nhi Yen will compete at 3:35 p.m.

In swimming, Vo Thi My Tien will compete in the women's 200m individual medley qualifying round at 4:17 p.m. My Tien is a special Olympic participant and will compete with the world's top swimmers in this event.
