Speaking at the ceremony, Director of the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum Nguyen Anh Minh said: Hungary has long been famous for its long-standing cultural and artistic traditions, being one of the cradles of European art with pinnacle works of art by the world's leading artists. Over the past nearly 75 years, the traditional friendship and good cooperation between Vietnam and Hungary have been developing very positively and comprehensively, including in the fields of culture and art.

According to Mr. Nguyen Anh Minh, the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum is not only a place to preserve, display and promote the value of Vietnam's fine arts heritage, but the Museum is always actively expanding connections and cooperation with embassies, cultural agencies and international museums to introduce the world's art collections to the public and Vietnamese art lovers. And this exhibition is a testament to that connection, cooperation and exchange.

Exhibition space
The exhibition of some masterpieces from the Museum of Fine Arts and the National Gallery of Hungary is the first digital exhibition using interactive screens at the Vietnam Museum of Fine Arts.
Hot Air Balloon (Pal Szinyei Merse - Hungary)
The exhibition presents digital reproductions of nearly 30 masterpieces of Hungarian and European art. Among them are works by El Greco, Bruegel, Raffaello, Dürer, Mihály Munkácsy, Pál Szinyei Merse and János Rippl-Rónai. The works are part of the collection of the Budapest Museum of Fine Arts, which was formed on the basis of the collections of Hungarian noble and religious collectors in the 18th and 19th centuries.

Sharing about the exhibition, Mr. Nguyen Anh Minh said: "This is an important cultural event, contributing to bringing famous masterpieces of European masters closer to the public and art lovers in Vietnam. In particular, the interactive touch screens in this digital exhibition are expected to enhance the experience for visitors during their visit and enjoyment, thereby contributing to promoting cultural exchange as well as connecting and enhancing understanding between the two countries."

The exhibition is open until September 25, 2024 at the Vietnam Museum of Fine Arts, 66 Nguyen Thai Hoc, Ba Dinh, Hanoi./.
