Presenting the national flag to Phu Quy district

BTO-In Phu Quy, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council and the Standing Committees of the People's Councils of districts, towns and cities in the province have just organized a ceremony to present the national flag to the island district to hang at Phu Quy Flagpole.

This activity is within the framework of the meeting of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council with the Standing Committees of the People's Councils of districts, towns and cities in the first 6 months of 2023 held in Phu Quy district (officially taking place on the morning of May 26, 2023). Attending the program were comrades: Tieu Hong Phuc - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Thi Thuan Bich - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Le Quang Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Quy district. Also attending were representatives of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Heads and Deputy Heads of the Provincial People's Council Committees, Heads of the Provincial People's Council Delegation Groups and local guests.

Here, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council presented the island district with 5 national flags and the Standing Committee of the People's Council of each district, town and city presented the island district with 2 national flags to hang at the Phu Quy Flagpole. On this occasion, the leaders of the island district also presented the national flags that had been hung at the Phu Quy Flagpole - representing Vietnam's sovereignty over the sea and islands on the outpost island to the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council and the districts, towns and cities... According to the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Tieu Hong Phuc, this is a meaningful program, affirming that the Party Committee and people of the localities always accompany the Party Committee and people of Phu Quy island district in the cause of protecting the sovereignty over the sea and islands of the Fatherland...

On this occasion, representatives of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council and the Standing Committees of the People's Councils of districts, towns and cities also planted souvenir trees at the Phu Quy Flagpole campus of the island district.
