(HQ Online) - The Customs Branch managing Yen Phong Industrial Parks (Bac Ninh Customs Department) has just held a ceremony to award Certificates to 2 enterprises that are members of the Pilot Program to support and encourage enterprises to voluntarily comply with customs laws.

The above enterprises include Zhong Jian Packaging Vietnam Co., Ltd. and SunCT Logistics Consulting and Transportation Joint Stock Company.
On behalf of Bac Ninh Customs Department, Head of Yen Phong Industrial Zone Customs Branch Tran Nam Thanh congratulated the two companies and expressed his hope that in the coming time, businesses will continue to accompany and cooperate with the Customs agency in general and Yen Phong Industrial Zone Customs Branch in particular in implementing and complying with the State's legal policies, especially effectively cooperating in implementing the Pilot Program to support and encourage businesses to voluntarily comply to bring practical benefits to both sides.
The leaders of this Branch commit to ensure dedicated and effective support and consultation for businesses in accordance with the contents committed in the Memorandum of Understanding signed between Bac Ninh Customs Department and the two businesses.

At the ceremony, business leaders expressed their honor and pride in being selected as member enterprises of the Pilot Program and highly appreciated the support of the Customs authority in providing timely advice and support on customs law policies, import-export policies, prioritizing the implementation of goods clearance dossiers, warning of factors that can reduce compliance levels, and saving logistics costs...
Business representatives also pledged to strictly comply with current laws and policies of the Vietnamese Government, seriously implement the commitments in the Memorandum of Understanding and the action plan set out, and strive to raise the compliance level to level 2 (High Compliance).
The benefits that businesses that are members of the Pilot Program to support and encourage businesses to voluntarily comply with customs laws enjoy include reduced time for customs clearance of goods, reduced inspection rates, being assigned a separate customs clearance area, being assigned qualified and experienced civil servants to conduct document checks and physical inspections of goods to ensure support for smooth customs procedures, proactively preventing violations during import and export activities...
In addition, enterprises participating in the Program are responsible for providing complete, timely and accurate information related to the enterprise's operations; cooperating with customs authorities in synchronizing digital transformation when requested by customs authorities; actively coordinating, exchanging and providing information related to the Company's import-export activities when requested to serve the purpose of improving legal compliance.
At the same time, commit to comply with the law, not to commit acts of smuggling, tax evasion, commercial fraud or to assist subjects in smuggling, tax evasion, tax fraud, commercial fraud. If these commitments are violated, the enterprise will have its membership in the Program and related benefits revoked...
Previously, Bac Ninh Customs Branch and Bac Giang Industrial Zones Customs Branch (Bac Ninh Customs Department) organized the awarding of Membership Certificates to 9 enterprises.
