In 2023, the Organizing Committee received 428 entries (2.1 times higher than in 2022). Of these, 281 were printed and electronic newspapers, and 147 were radio and television works. The works were invested in and expressed in many modern forms.
Through many rounds of careful selection, the Jury and Organizing Committee decided to award 2 collective prizes, 4 A prizes, 4 B prizes, 6 C prizes, and 20 Encouragement prizes to press agencies and groups of authors with excellent works submitted to the contest.

At the award ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Minh Triet, Secretary of the Central Youth Union, President of the Central Vietnam Student Association, said that the works participating in this year's award were carefully invested, rich in topics, sharp in content, diverse in style and modern in expression, reflecting comprehensively, diversely and deeply, with many new features of the Youth Union and youth movements in all regions and fields. Among them, many journalistic works with exploration, breakthrough, novelty, creativity and appeal were of interest to readers, especially young people.
In addition, many works mention "hot" issues of current relevance related to youth and children, which are promptly reflected with many appropriate solutions and recommendations. Thereby, it is suggested that Youth Union organizations at all levels and functional agencies find effective and suitable solutions to promote Youth Union activities and youth and children movements.
At the ceremony, the Central Youth Union awarded 4 A prizes, 4 B prizes, 6 C prizes, and 20 Encouragement prizes to press agencies and groups of authors with excellent works submitted to the contest. In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded 2 collective prizes to: Hai Phong City Youth Union and Bac Giang Newspaper, the unit with the most entries.

Of which, two A prizes in the print and electronic newspaper categories include: a series of 19 articles "Young pioneers paving the way" by Tien Phong newspaper (authors: Truong Hoang Long, Luu Thi Trinh, Mai Xuan Tung, Le Thanh Hai, Nguyen Thi Toan, Phan Thuy Linh, Nguyen Anh, Loc Thi Lien, Doan Van Tinh, Nguyen Quang Minh, Le Hoang Uyen Phuong) and a series of 5 articles "Tears of pride in Truong Sa" by Thanh Nien newspaper (author: Vu Thi Tho).
Two A prizes in the radio and television category include: the television work “Foster Father” by Border Guard Cinema and Television (Authors: Pham Ngoc Anh, Ta Manh Ha); a series of 3 radio broadcasts “Vietnamese language guides the young generation of overseas Vietnamese to nurture love and aspiration to contribute” by Voice of Vietnam (Authors: Nguyen Lan Phuong, Bui Anh Tuan, Ngo Thi Hai Yen).
