Kinhtedothi-The conference aims to update the orientations and directions of the Central Committee to equip the necessary knowledge and skills for the team of cadres, civil servants and public employees working on administrative reform (AR), and at the same time create a general spread to all cadres, civil servants and public employees participating in PAR work at the locality and unit.
This morning, November 19, the Department of Administrative Reform (Ministry of Home Affairs) coordinated with the Department of Home Affairs of provinces and centrally run cities to organize an online training conference on administrative reform (AR), connecting from the main bridge to 149 bridges in 63 provinces and centrally run cities.
Delegates attending at the bridge points are leaders in charge and civil servants performing administrative reform work of departments, branches, sectors and People's Committees at district and commune levels.
In which, the Hanoi bridge point was arranged at the Hanoi Post Office headquarters (Hoan Kiem district) with more than 100 delegates attending.
Taking place over one day, at the Conference, delegates listened to Mr. Phung Doan Hung and Mr. Bui Van Quyet - Chief Specialist of the Administrative Reform Department (Ministry of Home Affairs) present solutions to improve the Administrative Reform Index and skills in implementing administrative reform. Ms. Phung Thi Phong Lan - Faculty of Administrative Sciences (National Academy of Public Administration) introduced the topic "Strengthening discipline, administrative discipline, overcoming the situation of shirking and avoiding responsibility in performing public duties and tasks of civil servants and public employees in the current period".
Also at the training conference, representatives from several localities such as Hanoi, Vinh Phuc, Hai Phong, Khanh Hoa... introduced models and initiatives in implementing administrative reform tasks in their localities.
Speaking at the Conference, Director of the Department of Administrative Reform (Ministry of Home Affairs) Pham Minh Hung affirmed that this is a very large-scale conference and has practical significance for administrative reform work in the current period, when the State Administrative Reform Master Program for the period 2021-2030 has considered the building of a team of cadres, civil servants and public employees (CBCCVC) as a key task.
To carry out this task, every year, provinces and cities have strengthened training and fostering for the staff. According to the Government's regulations, there are currently many types of training and fostering implemented for the staff to improve their capacity and skills in handling work in the context of Vietnam promoting administrative reform and international integration.
According to Mr. Pham Minh Hung, the types of training that are often carried out are training according to civil servant ranks, professional titles of civil servants, pre-appointment training, training according to job positions, training to improve professional skills for civil servants... This training course is a form of training according to job positions for civil servants working in administrative reform.
"The training contents at the Conference aim to supplement and update the knowledge, skills and information on administrative reform that the Government has organized and implemented in the past time; along with the system of legal documents that have been issued, many directions and directions from the Central and the Government are added every year and closely follow the practical situation of administrative reform in the country. Therefore, this Conference is organized to update the directions and directions of the Central to equip the staff with necessary knowledge and skills to serve the work of advising on administrative reform, at the same time creating a general spread in the system to all staff and civil servants participating in administrative reform work in localities and units" - Director of the Department of Administrative Reform affirmed.
