How and where to look up high school graduation exam scores?

The Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) said that it has worked with 63 examination councils nationwide to standardize the exam score database to ensure accuracy and confidentiality. The ministry has asked localities to prepare technical infrastructure and information technology to serve the examination score lookup activities of candidates; to avoid technical problems during the examination score lookup process.

Candidates can look up exam results in 1 of the following 3 ways:

Method 1: Check exam scores via the website of the Department of Education and Training of each province or city. Candidates access the website of the Department of Education and Training where they registered for the exam, then enter their registration number in the registration number entry box to get detailed results.

Method 2: Look up exam scores on the High School Graduation Exam management system of the Ministry of Education and Training. Candidates access the website: http://tracuudiem.thitotnghiepthpt.edu.vn/; enter the registration number, confirmation code and click look up.

Method 3: Look up exam scores via press websites. The Ministry of Education and Training has provided exam score data to a number of press agencies to serve candidates' lookups. Candidates can look up scores on the Nguoi Lao Dong newspaper at https://nld.com.vn/tra-cuu-diem-thi-thpt-2024.htm

The Ministry of Education and Training stipulates that for the essay subject of literature, the test is graded on a 10-point scale, and the odd points of the total score of the entire test are rounded to 2 decimal places. Multiple-choice subjects are rounded to 2 decimal places for each test and each component subject of the combined test.

The high school graduation score includes the scores of the exams that the candidate takes to be considered for graduation recognition and the average score of the entire 12th grade year, plus priority and incentive points (if any). The score of each exam is converted to a 10-point scale to calculate the graduation score.

After completing the 2024 high school graduation exam score lookup on the website system, if the exam score is found to be abnormal, the results are much different from the previously estimated results, candidates can submit a request for review from July 17 to 26.

By July 23 at the latest, high schools will issue temporary graduation certificates, print and send exam result certificates to candidates. For cases of re-examination, graduation will be considered no later than August 9.
