Ho Chi Minh City announces additional recruitment for integrated English 10th grade class

Accordingly, based on the official dispatch requesting additional enrollment for integrated English 10th grade classes of high schools that organize this type, comparing the assigned quota with the actual situation of successful application submission, the Department of Education and Training announces additional enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year.

Specifically, the additional enrollment quota for integrated English class 10 is as follows:

The Department of Education and Training stipulates the conditions for participating in the additional admission exam for integrated English grade 10 as follows: Candidates must be students who have studied integrated English at secondary schools or have registered to take the integrated English exam; Not admitted to any of the wishes of the integrated class at a regular high school or the specialized English class according to Project 5695.

Candidates should contact directly the secondary schools where they studied grade 9 and register to submit their application for grade 10 admission for the 2024-2025 school year to register for additional admission from July 11 to 4:00 p.m. on July 15.

The Department of Education and Training will base on the candidate's 3 previously registered integrated English school preferences and the total integrated English exam score, and consider the scores in order from highest to lowest until the quota is full.

Additional recruitment announcement for regular grade 10 is expected to be announced on July 13.

For regular high schools, Mr. Ho Tan Minh, Chief of Office of the Department of Education and Training, informed that after the end of the time for candidates to confirm submitting their online applications to the schools they have been admitted to on July 12, by July 13, the Department of Education and Training will identify and announce high schools that are still lacking enrollment quotas, and register to enroll additional 10th graders to meet the assigned quotas in the 2024-2025 school year.

Accordingly, the Department of Education and Training stipulates the conditions for registration for additional admission to regular grade 10 as follows:

• Candidates who are not admitted to all 3 wishes (candidates who refuse to enroll in the admitted wish are not allowed to register for additional admission to grade 10) .
• Candidates whose 10th grade exam scores are higher than or equal to the standard score of their third choice of the high school they are applying for.

High schools will consider additional enrollment for grade 10 from highest to lowest until they reach the assigned quota for the 2024-2025 school year.
