ABBank's total assets at the end of the second quarter of 2023 reached VND 154,346 billion.

The audited semi-annual financial statements (SFS) for 2023 of An Binh Commercial Joint Stock Bank (ABBank) dated August 15, 2023 recorded slight adjustments in financial indicators and operating results due to the request of the independent auditor to adjust the classification of transactions. ABBank's pre-tax profit for the first 6 months of 2023 after auditing remained unchanged at VND 638 billion.

Specifically, after the audit, ABBank's total assets at the end of the second quarter of 2023 reached VND 154,346 billion, an increase of more than VND 2 billion compared to before the audit due to the addition of VND 2.3 billion in the Accounts Receivable entry.

In the business results table, ABBank's audited service income increased by more than VND 30 billion, reaching VND 745 billion due to the transfer according to the audit opinion from the Income from other activities item.

Other indicators in the reviewed semi-annual report remain unchanged, in accordance with the published financial report for the second quarter of 2023. Pre-tax profit remains at VND 638 billion. ABBank's charter capital reaches VND 10,350 billion. The bad debt ratio according to the guidance in Circular 11/2021/TT-NHNN of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) is controlled by ABBank at 2.86%, ensuring compliance with SBV regulations. All bad debts are secured by valuable assets.

Regarding the plan to improve business efficiency, the Bank is focusing on implementing actions to increase CASA balance; credit growth associated with credit quality safety; continuing to closely monitor the work of controlling, managing, recovering and handling bad debts. In particular, closely following developments and coordinating, strictly complying with the economic and monetary management policies of the Government and the State Bank; effectively and reasonably managing operating costs in general and staff costs in particular to match capacity, retain and attract talent.

Talking to Nguoi Dua Tin , an ABBank representative said: “ ABBank will continue to follow the “Customer-centric” strategy. In the long term, ABBank will move towards sharing business opportunities with customers at the following levels: Taking customers as the center and Accompanying customers in business and creating new values ”.

It is known that ABBank continues to participate in the Interest Rate Support Program for corporate customers, cooperatives, and business households affected by the pandemic. By the end of July 2023, ABBank had restructured loans for nearly 200 customers facing difficulties according to Circular 02/2023/TT-NHNN, with restructured outstanding loans reaching over VND 1,000 billion.
