The first time the project was not completed on schedule in 2015, the second time the schedule was adjusted to 2016, the third time it was not completed in 2016 and Hanoi had to adjust the schedule to 2017, the fourth time it was not completed in 2017 and Hanoi had to adjust to 2018, the fifth time it was not completed in 2018 - Hanoi Urban Railway Management Board committed to completing it in April 2021, the sixth time it was not completed in April 2021 and had to adjust the schedule to October 2021, the seventh time it was not completed in April 2021 and had to adjust it to December 2021.

Following the 8th time of not completing the train operation plan in December 2021, the 9th time at the Prime Minister's inspection of the project at the site on August 7, 2022, the representative of Hanoi People's Committee reported the progress and commitment: put the elevated section from Nhon (Bac Tu Liem) to S8 station (Cau Giay), more than 8 km long, into operation from December 2022, the 10th time of not completing the train operation plan in December 2022, not completing the train operation commitment with the Prime Minister, in March 2023, the MRB Board asked for a delay and proposed the time to put the trains into operation as August 2023.

For the 11th time, after failing to complete the train operation plan in August 2023, on August 7, the Government Office announced the Prime Minister's direction with the following content: The Prime Minister directed the Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee to completely resolve the problems and put the elevated section of the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station into operation by the end of 2023. For the 12th time, the project still could not put the trains into operation on the elevated section as required by the Prime Minister in December 2023. Talking to Tien Phong reporter afterwards, the leader of the MRB Board said that the final important tasks have been completed to put the trains into commercial operation on the elevated section in June this year. For the 13th time, the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station trains still could not run on the elevated section from Nhon to Cau Giay as committed.
