On May 25, in Tokyo, the Vietnamese Youth and Student Association in Japan (VYSA) opened the 17th Job Fair for Vietnamese in Japan (VYSA JOB FAIR 2024).
This is an annual networking event between businesses and Vietnamese people living, studying and working in Japan. It is also an opportunity for students to orient their careers, as well as improve their practical skills to prepare the best before starting a business in Japan.
This year's VYSA JOB FAIR had up to 200 young Vietnamese people register with 10 businesses in Japan to participate in exchange activities, introductions, and job orientation, showing the growing attraction of this event.
Currently, Vietnam ranks second in the number of international students in Japan, after China, so the need for students about to graduate to find out job recruitment information from businesses in Japan is very large.
Representing a Japanese enterprise participating in this year's event, Ms. Inoue Eri, in charge of the human resources department of Mori Kosan Company - a business operating in the field of supporting foreign education in Japan - said that many Vietnamese students are not only good at Japanese but also have very good teaching skills.
This is the reason why the company really wants to recruit Vietnamese employees to teach Japanese to foreigners at partner units in Japan.
