(Fatherland) - The Department of Culture and Sports of Da Nang organized a campaign to compose songs to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Da Nang City (March 29, 1975 - March 29, 2025) with the theme "Da Nang - 50-year journey of aspiration".
On February 5, the Department of Culture and Sports of Da Nang City announced that it had just issued a plan to organize a campaign to compose songs to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Da Nang City (March 29, 1975 - March 29, 2025).

With the theme "Da Nang - 50-year journey of aspiration", the Campaign to compose songs to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Da Nang City (the Campaign) aims to implement the goal of the Project "Developing literature and arts in Da Nang City to 2030", gradually enhancing the activities of composing and creating valuable literary and artistic works, works written about the city and people of Da Nang, forming a unique identity for the city's literary and artistic life.
Along with that, mobilize and encourage musicians nationwide to promote the creation of valuable musical works of high artistic quality, introduce and promote the land and people of Da Nang in conjunction with the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Da Nang City (March 29, 1975 - March 29, 2025). At the same time, select musical works of ideological and artistic value to promote and disseminate during important holidays and events of the city.
Participants are Vietnamese citizens living, working, studying, and laboring in and outside the country; foreigners living, working, studying, and laboring in Vietnam. Members of the Artwork Evaluation Council are not eligible to participate in the contest.
Regulations on form and quantity: The song must be composed from January 2023 to present, has not won any competition or campaign/has not been published in any form, and has no dispute over copyright or authorship. After the work wins the prize, in case of a dispute over copyright or related rights, the Organizing Committee will revoke the award. Authors and groups of authors may register no more than 03 works.
The Organizing Committee has the right to use all works participating in the Campaign to serve the organization of the Campaign, serve political and social tasks, propaganda, promotion, publication, use in cultural and artistic programs or political events of the city... in any form without notice or permission and without having to pay copyright and rights related to the work.
Entries should be sent by post/directly to the Department of Culture and Sports of Da Nang City at the following address: Department of Cultural Management, Department of Culture and Sports, 17th floor, City Administration Center, 24 Tran Phu, Thach Thang Ward, Hai Chau District, Da Nang City; phone 0236. 3822136. The deadline for receipt is from the date of announcement of the plan until March 15, 2025 (based on the postmark).
