Hai Long is a player who received high trust from coach Kim Sang Sik at the AFF Cup 2024 and he did not disappoint the Korean strategist to help the Vietnamese team win the championship for the third time in history in this tournament.
The striker born in 2000 scored the first goal for the Vietnamese team in the opening match against Laos and also scored the last goal when they defeated Thailand 3-2 in the second leg of the final on January 5.
