Speaking with Thanh Nien Newspaper reporters on the afternoon of December 4, a representative of Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport provided additional noteworthy information related to Mr. Nguyen Truong Hai, who has been causing a stir in public opinion due to suspicions of using a fake doctorate degree to apply to many universities and colleges recently.

According to a representative of the Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport, Mr. Hai signed a probationary contract to perform professional survey tasks and assist in university-level teaching. During that time, Mr. Hai did not participate in teaching because he was in the probationary period, only attending classes and assisting in university-level courses for the school to evaluate.
"After the assessment, the School's Organization and Administration Department reported specifically. Accordingly, Mr. Hai's expertise did not meet the requirements according to the report of the Professional Assessment Council. Mr. Hai's personal profile was not suitable for the position of lecturer due to the lack of a university degree. Mr. Hai's other qualifications were also invalid after the Organization and Administration Department conducted verification. Therefore, the school decided to terminate the professional survey and not sign an official contract with Mr. Hai," said this representative.
Representatives of Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport reported the above information to the police and competent authorities.
