Standing Committee of Bac Giang Provincial Party Committee visited and wished Most Venerable Thich Thanh Quyet a Happy New Year

On the occasion of preparing to welcome the Lunar New Year of At Ty 2025, on the afternoon of January 22, at Non Nuoc Pagoda, Soc Son District (Hanoi), comrades: Nguyen Van Gau - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Viet Oanh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Giang province visited and wished a happy New Year to Most Venerable Thich Thanh Quyet - Vice Chairman of the Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, President of the Hanoi Buddhist Academy, Head of the Buddhist Executive Committee of 4 provinces: Quang Ninh, Ha Nam, Son La and Bac Kan.

Accompanying the delegation were comrades: Tran Cong Thang - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee; Pham Van Thinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission; Dinh Duc Canh - Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; representatives of the Department of Home Affairs, Provincial Police, and Provincial People's Committee Office.

Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Van Gau thanked Most Venerable Thich Thanh Quyet for his help and support for the activities of the Buddhist Sangha of Bac Giang province.

Speaking here, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Van Gau informed about the province's outstanding achievements in the fields of socio-economic development, national defense, security, foreign affairs in 2024 and the direction and tasks of socio-economic development of the province in 2025. He emphasized that in the common achievements of the province, there is the joint efforts and consensus of the cadres and people of the whole province and the support and joint efforts of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, of Venerable Thich Thanh Quyet, of Buddhists inside and outside the province who have promoted the tradition of solidarity, creating strength for Bac Giang to concentrate on the conditions for socio-economic development, implementing social security policies. Thereby, increasingly consolidating the great national unity bloc, further consolidating the people's trust in the leadership of the Party.
