In 2023, all levels, sectors and people of Thuan Bac district have actively made efforts to carry out political, economic, social and national defense-security tasks. The results of 9/11 targets reached and exceeded the set plan. The production value of the sectors is estimated at 10,951 billion VND, exceeding 1.8%, up 11%; the total social investment is estimated at 4,180 billion VND, exceeding 2%, up 18% over the previous year. The tasks of health, education and social security were well implemented; national defense-security were ensured.
In 2024, the People's Committee of Thuan Bac district set the following targets: Total production value of all sectors reaches 12,984 billion VND, an increase of 16.6% compared to 2023; state budget revenue is 65.3 billion VND; total social development investment capital is expected to reach 4,380 billion VND; birth rate is reduced in the population growth rate by 0.2%; poor households decrease by 3%; trained workers reach 51.5%; health insurance coverage rate reaches 97%; average communes reach 17.5 criteria; military service reaches 100% of the target.
