Thuan Bac: Meeting to evaluate the results of implementing tasks in 2023, set out directions and tasks for 2024

On November 23, the People's Committee of Thuan Bac district held an annual meeting to evaluate the results of implementing the socio -economic development tasks in 2023 and set out directions and tasks for 2024.

In 2023, all levels, sectors and people of Thuan Bac district have actively made efforts to carry out political , economic, social and national defense-security tasks. The results of 9/11 targets reached and exceeded the set plan. The production value of the sectors is estimated at 10,951 billion VND, exceeding 1.8%, up 11%; the total social investment is estimated at 4,180 billion VND, exceeding 2%, up 18% over the previous year. The tasks of health, education, and social security were well implemented; national defense-security were ensured.

In 2024, the People's Committee of Thuan Bac district set the following targets: Total production value of all sectors reaches 12,984 billion VND, an increase of 16.6% compared to 2023; state budget revenue is 65.3 billion VND; total social development investment capital is expected to reach 4,380 billion VND; birth rate is reduced in the population growth rate by 0.2%; poor households decrease by 3%; trained workers reach 51.5%; health insurance coverage rate reaches 97%; average communes reach 17.5 criteria; military service reaches 100% of the target.
