Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council works with Standing Committee of the Ninh Phuoc District People's Council

On February 23, the Standing Delegation of the Provincial People's Council led by Comrade Tran Minh Luc, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, had a working session with the Standing Committee of the Ninh Phuoc District People's Council on the results of activities in 2023 and directions and tasks in 2024.

In 2023, the Standing Committee of the People's Council and the committees of the Ninh Phuoc District People's Council proactively coordinated with relevant agencies to implement tasks according to their authority; the contents and programs were implemented according to plan; the content and methods of operation of the People's Councils at all levels were innovated, the quality of meetings with voters was improved. The work of monitoring and urging relevant agencies to resolve voters' opinions and recommendations and complaints and denunciations of citizens was carried out regularly. Through meetings with people, the district People's Council delegates explained questions and recommendations, and at the same time guided the procedures for citizens to send complaints to competent agencies for resolution...

Speaking at the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council suggested that in the coming time, the locality needs to review the operating regulations between the Standing Committee of the People's Council, the People's Committee, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district to ensure the effectiveness of the activities of the People's Councils at all levels; innovate and improve the quality of meetings, management methods, and explanatory meetings; strengthen inspection and supervision of the implementation of resolutions related to socio-economic development policies issued by the Provincial and District People's Councils; continue to innovate the content and methods of organizing meetings with voters; pay attention to and review approved local plans, especially land issues and site clearance, to ensure the completion of socio-economic development targets and tasks in 2024 and the 2020-2025 term.
