Standing Committee of Provincial People's Council works with Standing Committee of Thuan Bac District People's Council

On February 29, the Standing Delegation of the Provincial People's Council led by Comrade Tran Minh Luc, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, had a working session with the Standing Committee of the Thuan Bac District People's Council on the results of activities in 2023 and directions and tasks in 2024.

In 2023, the Standing Committee of the People's Council of Thuan Bac district has led and directed the implementation of the proposed programs and plans, contributing to socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security in the area. The Standing Committee of the People's Council of Thuan Bac district has developed and issued resolutions in accordance with the order, procedures and authority prescribed by law; performed well the activities of examining, reporting and supervising the documents and resolutions of the People's Council in accordance with the procedures and regulations. The work of supervising and surveying programs, plans and topics has been regularly carried out by the People's Council's committees and delegations; closely coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of districts and communes to well organize voter contact activities in accordance with the provisions of law; citizen reception work has been maintained regularly.

Speaking at the working session, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council suggested that in the coming time, the Standing Committee of the People's Council of Thuan Bac district should focus on reviewing resolutions and targets for effective implementation; strengthen coordination with the District People's Committee to allocate and assign specific targets for task performance to the People's Councils of communes and regularly inspect, supervise and urge for effective implementation; continue to innovate the working methods of the People's Councils at district and commune levels; improve the quality of the activities of the People's Councils of districts and communes and improve the quality of People's Council meetings; strengthen thematic supervision activities and select supervision contents; strengthen the organization of explanation sessions of the Standing Committee of the People's Council; focus on resolving opinions, recommendations, handling petitions and complaints of the people; promote administrative reform, application of information technology, digital transformation in the activities of the People's Council...

The working delegation of the Provincial People's Council Standing Committee visited Kien Kien reservoir, Loi Hai commune and Du Long Industrial Park.
