(CLO) On the afternoon of November 7, in Hanoi , Le Courrier du Vietnam (under the Vietnam News Agency - VNA), the only French-language newspaper in Vietnam, held the award ceremony of the 9th "Young Francophone Reporters" Contest, 2024.
Accordingly, with talent, creativity, and strong passion, the group of contestants: Ngo Quoc Khanh, Pham Hoang Hai, Do Thanh Tam, Trinh Phuong Linh and Nguyen Thi Lieu Hang conquered the judges with the work "JT HANUvelles, a creative Francophone adventure" and won the first prize of the contest. This is not only an excellent work, but also an inspiring voice emphasizing the importance of creativity in language learning and cultural exchange.

In addition, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 Second Prize, 1 Third Prize, 2 Encouragement Prizes, and many other prizes such as the prizes of the Embassies of Romania and Morocco; the prize of the Asia- Pacific Regional Office, the Francophone University Organization for "Talented Students", the prize of USTH University, the "Creative Prize" of Phenikaa University, the "Impressive Contestant" prize, the "Dynamic Contestant" prize, the "Reader's Choice" prize were awarded to authors/groups of authors with excellent works.
Speaking at the award ceremony, VNA Deputy General Director Doan Thi Tuyet Nhung highly appreciated the efforts of the Le Courrier du Vietnam editorial board to annually organize a forum for French-speaking youth, thereby affirming the position of Le Courrier du Vietnam newspaper, while contributing to promoting the development of the Francophone community in Vietnam.

According to the Ministry of Information and Communications, Le Courrier du Vietnam is one of the foreign electronic newspapers with the highest rate of access from abroad, with more than 180 countries and territories in the world. This is a testament to the effectiveness and spread of French-language information from Le Courrier du Vietnam.
The "Young Francophone Reporters" contest is one of the effective forms of foreign propaganda that Le Courrier du Vietnam newspaper has strived to maintain since 2016, contributing to affirming the role and position of the newspaper as well as of VNA in the field of foreign information.
