According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the North will continue to experience hot weather for the next two days. On August 29, Hanoi and the provinces and cities in the Northern Delta may experience the highest temperature of 35-37 degrees Celsius, with some areas experiencing severe heat.
On the first day of the holiday (August 31), the North recorded a slight temperature drop to a maximum of 31-34 degrees Celsius, remaining hot in the afternoon and evening. Thunderstorms may appear in the evening but will not last long.
During September 1-3, the region will continue to be hot and sunny all day with the highest temperature of 31-33 degrees Celsius. The weather in the North during the holiday is favorable for people to participate in outdoor activities.

Meanwhile, the Central region will be hot and sunny from August 31 to September 1, then will experience showers and thunderstorms, concentrated in the area from Da Nang to Binh Thuan on September 2 and 3. The rain will help reduce the temperature below 35 degrees Celsius, but there is a risk of thunderstorms, lightning and strong gusts of wind.
In the Central Highlands and the South, the weather will be bad during the holiday with showers and thunderstorms. The two regions will still have intermittent sunny periods during the day, but sudden rains may affect people's participation in outdoor activities during the holiday.

– From Da Nang to Binh Thuan: Showers and thunderstorms at night in some places, especially in the south there are showers and scattered thunderstorms, locally heavy rain in some places; sunny during the day, hot in the north, some places extremely hot. Lowest temperature 25-28 degrees Celsius; highest in the north 34-37 degrees Celsius, in the south 32-35 degrees Celsius.
