19-year-old girl hospitalized for self-abortion with pills bought online

The doctor examined and discovered that the gestational sac had not been completely aborted. The patient was given timely emergency care and has overcome the critical condition and is gradually recovering.

From the above case, doctors warn of the danger when many women arbitrarily buy abortion pills to take at home or apply folk remedies with the hope of expelling the fetus, this is an act that has many potential risks that threaten the mother's life if complications occur.

Normally, medical abortion is indicated when the fetus is less than 7 weeks old, ultrasound shows that the fetus must be implanted in the uterine cavity and the mother does not have any medical conditions such as cardiovascular disease or other blood diseases...
