Photo contest about beautiful moments of the National Press Festival 2024

Tomorrow morning (March 15), the 2024 National Press Festival, the largest ever, will open on Le Loi Street (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City).

Within the framework of the 2024 National Press Festival, Nhan Dan Newspaper organized a quick photo contest with the theme "Beautiful moments of the 2024 National Press Festival" for photographers and people attending the event.

The content of the composition includes all activities and beautiful images taking place within the framework of the press conference. The works participating in the contest are composed and sent to the organizing committee from 6:00 a.m. on March 15 to 12:00 p.m. on March 16. The author must clearly state his/her full name, phone number, and contact address, and send it directly to the address: vedepvnnd@gmail.com or call the organizing committee (0913594319) for instructions.

According to the organizers, the photos submitted to the contest can be color or black and white. Each author can submit 10 works, including single photos or photo series (single photo: each photo is a work; photo series: each photo series consists of 5 - 8 photos). The organizers encourage photo series to have a caption introducing the content, up to 100 words.

Regarding the award structure, 1 first prize receives a certificate and a prize of 3 million VND; 2 second prizes receive a certificate and a prize of 2 million VND; 3 third prizes receive a certificate and a prize of 1 million VND.

The biggest festival of journalists

The National Press Festival is the biggest festival for journalists, held for the first time this year in Ho Chi Minh City, from March 15 to 17 with the theme of pioneering and innovation. The 2024 National Press Festival brings together more than 100 central and local press agencies, and all levels of the Vietnam Journalists Association in 63 provinces and cities nationwide.

Along with the display areas of newspapers and OCOP products (typical products from communes and wards), the National Press Association also organized a national press forum with large-scale professional activities. There were 10 discussion sessions within the framework of the press forum at Rex Hotel (141 Nguyen Hue, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1) with current topics such as data journalism, technology application...

In addition, the 2024 National Press Festival also has entertainment activities, music performances, Spring press awards, and the Journalist & Public Opinion Cup football tournament. People can visit for free from 8am on event days.
