Returning to Vietnam just as storm number 3 - super typhoon Yagi was sweeping through the northern provinces, Mr. Sang Tran (Gulfstream Inc) from Canada and Mr. Tri Nguyen (Not Polish Company) from the US could not help but feel heartbroken at the images of their fellow countrymen suffering heavy losses. Responding to the call for mutual love and support from organizations in Vietnam for the people of the northern provinces affected by storms and floods, including the call from VietNamNet newspaper, the two Vietnamese children living far away from home expressed their decision to support a contribution to the people of the North through VietNamNet newspaper.

This morning, September 13, Mr. Sang Tran and Tri Nguyen presented 10,000 USD, equivalent to nearly 250 million VND, to the representative of VietNamNet newspaper in Ho Chi Minh City.

We wish to contribute a small part to help people overcome these heavy losses and reduce the pain. As Vietnamese people who have been away from home for a long time, we feel that we need to have the responsibility to join hands and share the difficulties that our people are facing.”

According to the plan, on this trip back to their homeland, Mr. Sang Tran and Tri Nguyen are two members of Team No. 65 participating in the Gumball 3000 Supercar Journey, an international event for supercar enthusiasts that will take place from September 14-23 through 5 Southeast Asian countries including Vietnam - Cambodia - Thailand - Malaysia - Singapore.
