Liquidity drops, VN-Index increases slightly

NDO - In the trading session on November 5, the caution of both sellers and buyers caused the main indices to fluctuate slightly around the reference and liquidity to drop sharply. Meanwhile, the group of bluechip stocks traded sluggishly, making it impossible for the market to break out. At the end of the session, the VN-Index increased by 1.05 points to 1,245.76 points.


On the HoSE floor, the matched order value this session decreased sharply compared to the previous session, reaching more than VND 8,184.01 billion.

Foreign investors net sold VND854 billion on HoSE. On the selling side, MSN shares were sold the most (VND169 billion), followed by VHM (VND116 billion), MWG (VND86 billion)... On the contrary, TCB shares were bought the most (VND67 billion), followed by VPB (VND32 billion), EIB (VND32 billion)...

Today's session, the VN30 group of stocks closed with 11 stocks increasing, 10 stocks remaining unchanged and 9 stocks decreasing.

Of which, GVR increased by 1.74% to VND 32,100/share.

Codes: BVH, HPG, MWG, PLX, POW, SHB, SSB, VCB, VIC increased slightly from 0.11-0.96%.

Ten codes stopped at reference: ACB, BCM, HDB, MBB, SAB, TCB, TPB, VHM, VIB, VPB.

In the opposite direction, CTG decreased 1.82% to VND35,050/share.

The remaining codes: BID, FPT, GAS, MSN, SSI, STB, VJC, VNM, VRE decreased slightly from 0.14-0.63%.

In terms of industry groups, steel stocks, except for DTL, plummeted, down 6.15% to VND11,450/share, while the rest only fluctuated slightly. Specifically, HMC increased by 0.46%, HPG increased by 0.76%, HSG increased by 0.25%, NKG increased by 0.97%, TLH increased by 0.63%, VCA stopped at reference, and SMC decreased by 0.15%.

The group of securities stocks closed the session in red, with TVS down 2.76% to VND21,100/share, VCI down 0.87%, FTS down 0.82%, CTS down 0.66%, SSI down 0.38%, BSI down 0.31%, TCI down 0.24%, DSE down 0.20%, HCM down 0.17%, VIX down 1.4%, APG down 0.11%. On the contrary, TVB increased 2.69% to VND9,150/share, VND up 0.35%, along with codes: AGR, ORS, VDS stopping at reference.

Banking stocks traded more actively when closing in green. In addition to the codes: ACB, BID, CTG, HDB, MBB, SHB, SSB, STB, TCB, TPB, VCB, VPB, VIB in the VN30 group mentioned above, the codes: EIB increased by 3.21%, LPB increased by 0.15%, MSB increased by 0.43%, OCB decreased by 1.38%, NAB increased by 1.6%.

Real estate stocks closed up slightly, of which VSI increased by 6.42%, VRC increased by 4.19%, NVT increased by 4.44%, SIP increased by 2.64%, DXS increased by 1.4%, TDC increased by 1.3%, LHG increased by 1.14%,...

* The Vietnamese stock market index maintained green throughout the session today, VNXALL-Index closed up 2.22 points (+0.11%), to 2,063.24 points. Liquidity in the whole market, with trading volume reaching 423.92 million units, equivalent to trading value reaching 11,302.87 billion VND. In the whole market, there were 194 stocks increasing in price, 107 stocks remaining unchanged and 158 stocks decreasing in price.

* At the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index closed at 224.86 points, up 0.40 points (+0.18%). Liquidity reached a total of more than 26.64 million units transferred, with a corresponding trading value of more than VND468.45 billion. The entire floor had 81 stocks increasing, 69 stocks remaining unchanged and 57 stocks decreasing.

The HNX30 index closed up 0.09 points (+0.02%) at 482.05 points. Trading volume reached over 14.17 million units, with a corresponding value of over VND315.89 billion. The HNX30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 13 stocks increasing, 8 stocks remaining unchanged and 9 stocks decreasing.

On the UPCoM market, the UPCoM Index increased, closing at 91.90 points, up 0.30 points (+0.32%). Market liquidity, total trading volume reached more than 16.07 million shares, corresponding trading value reached more than 233.0 billion VND. The UPCoM group of stocks ended the trading day with 147 stocks increasing, 92 stocks remaining unchanged and 102 stocks decreasing.

* At the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, the VN-Index closed up 1.05 points (+0.08%) at 1,245.76 points. Liquidity reached over 415.32 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND10,919.45 billion. The entire floor had 187 stocks increasing, 83 stocks remaining unchanged and 168 stocks decreasing.

The VN30 Index increased by 0.71 points (+0.05%) to 1,313.35 points. Liquidity reached more than 163.56 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND5,535.07 billion. The VN30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 11 stocks increasing, 10 stocks remaining unchanged and 9 stocks decreasing.

The five stocks with the highest trading volume were DXG (over 18.67 million units), VHM (over 14.14 million units), DIG (over 10.14 million units), VPB (over 9.95 million units), TCB (over 9.92 million units).

The five stocks with the highest price increase were NAV (6.94%), TMT (6.92%), SMA (6.91%), SFC (6.90%), DXV (6.86%).

The five stocks with the biggest price declines were PJT (-6.99%), CIG (-6.98%), ABR (-6.94%), DTT (-6.93%), QNP (-6.34%).

* Today's derivatives market had 142,332 contracts traded, worth VND 18,789.85 billion.
