Hair serves to protect and keep the bikini area warm. Waxing the wrong way can lead to a number of health risks.

Advantage:

- Helps keep private area dry on hot days, reduces odor.

- Reduces the risk of infection and gynecological diseases.

- Create a new feeling for your partner and wear more beautiful clothes.

Disadvantages:

- The skin in this area is sensitive and prone to rashes. Improper waxing or using hair removal products containing strong active ingredients can cause skin irritation.

- Risk of infection, itching, contact dermatitis, especially when the skin is scratched or infected during hair removal.

- Risk of scarring from using a razor to remove hair. Therefore, you should not shave too deeply and should shave in the direction of hair growth, using a sharp razor blade.

- Increased hair growth after waxing, causing hair to grow back thicker and darker, causing loss of aesthetics.

Safe hair removal method:

- Razor: This is the simplest and fastest method. The tool consists of only a razor along with a specialized cream or gel. You need to disinfect the razor to ensure hygiene and safety during the cleaning process. You should use a moisturizer or a specialized shaving gel. Shaving slowly and gently in the direction of hair growth.

- Tweezers: This method takes more time and requires meticulousness, can be more painful than a razor, but creates the desired shape. You need to clean the tweezers and use warm water or apply moisturizer to soften the skin. Gently pull each hair in the direction of hair growth.

- Pruning scissors: This method saves time and helps create the desired shape with little risk.

- Specialized hair removal agents: Depilatories are a type of chemical bleach that can make hair fall out more easily. This method is safe but can cause allergies or irritation.

- Laser hair removal: This method ensures hygiene, safety and effectively prevents hair growth. Doctors will shine laser beams on the hairy area to transmit light to the hair follicles. The heat from the beams gradually weakens and can destroy the hair follicles, preventing them from growing back. This method is contraindicated for people with infections, allergies or irritation to hair removal creams or hair removal gels.

Post-waxing and hair removal care:

- Keep the genital area clean, avoid contact with water for the first 4 hours after hair removal.

- Absolutely do not wear underwear that is too tight after waxing because it can cause scratches, creating conditions for bacteria to attack, causing acne and bad odor.

- Do not use shower gel, soap or cleaning solutions containing fragrances or strong detergents to clean the area that has just been waxed. Clean with cool water, then dry with a soft towel or use gentle cleaning products for sensitive skin.

- Do not steam or take hot baths three days after hair removal as it can cause pores to dilate and cause burning.

- Avoid sunlight for about a week after hair removal. Do not swim or exercise vigorously for the first few days.

- In addition, you can gently apply coconut oil, olive oil or moisturizer to soothe and restore the skin after hair removal.
