In order to support businesses in introducing and promoting potential products to a large number of consumers as well as regional and international partners, the Industry and Trade sector has organized many trade promotion activities (XTTM) and trade connection programs for businesses. Thereby, not only helping businesses consume products, learn experience in developing production and business, and access advanced technology, but also providing an opportunity for the province to attract investment capital.

From September 24 to 28, in Nanning City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China, the 2024 China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO 2024) took place.   Quang Ninh participated with 70 OCOP products from 3-5 stars, such as: Duong Hoa Tea; Ba Che Golden Flower Tea; Bababi Van Don seafood floss; Morinda officinalis wine, Yen Tu plum wine; Northeast medicinal tea... Within the framework of the fair, there is also an area to display and introduce documents on tourism services of Quang Ninh province to promote and introduce to businesses and people attending. On this occasion, the delegation of officials and businesses of the province also directly worked with agents and businesses who wanted to learn about the typical products and tourism services of Quang Ninh, guided businesses to work and sign cooperation agreements. Thereby, continuing to promote the potential strengths of trade and tourism of the province, creating conditions for businesses of Quang Ninh.   Seeking cooperation opportunities and expanding markets in China and ASEAN countries.

Mr. Chu Van Man, Deputy Director of Viet Tu Investment, Construction and Trading Company Limited (Hai Ha district), participating in the China - ASEAN Fair for the first time, shared: Quang Ninh has many strong products and enthusiastic businessmen, determined to bring their products to foreign markets. From participating in a large fair like CAEXPO, I realize that Quang Ninh is confident enough and has many valuable products, completely capable of competing in the Chinese market. With Viet Tu tea products, our first purpose of participating in this fair is to let international friends know that Quang Ninh has a very unique tea region born from the sea and gradually identify the brand Tra Duong Hoa - famous Quang Ninh tea in the international market.

According to the representative of the Department of Industry and Trade, trade connection and trade promotion activities are bridges to help businesses promote products, seek investment partners, promote cooperation in many fields and bring practical benefits. From there, a supply chain from production to consumption is formed, stimulating domestic consumption, expanding domestic and export markets, helping to improve competitiveness and promote the development of product value chains of localities. With CAEXPO 2024, it has contributed to concretizing the cooperation minutes between Quang Ninh and provinces/regions of China; promoting trade promotion and tourism exchanges between Quang Ninh and Yunnan province, China in 2024; effectively linking the province's trade promotion and tourism activities at regional and international events. At the same time, this is also an opportunity for Quang Ninh to introduce its potential and advantages in trade and services; Support the province's trade and tourism enterprises to participate in activities at the Fair, contributing to creating conditions for market expansion, connecting exchanges, meetings, finding partners, promoting trade and promoting product consumption.

With the rapid development of the current market economy, trade promotion is identified as one of the important solutions, contributing to supporting enterprises and cooperatives to adapt to new trends and expand their consumption markets. In order to promote the effectiveness of appropriate trade promotion activities, the province has directed the Department of Industry and Trade to regularly organize propaganda, promote and innovate trade promotion activities; update information on policies, laws, industrial, trade and service development, information on domestic markets, import and export and administrative procedures related to the industry and trade sector on the Department's component information portal, fanpage... to create conditions for management agencies and enterprises operating e-commerce in the province to grasp. Along with that, proactively informing, mobilizing, and supporting businesses, cooperatives, and production establishments in the province to participate in domestic and international fairs and exhibitions, in order to promote the image and products of Quang Ninh province to friends in the region and the world. In particular, taking advantage of the development of e-commerce, state management agencies in the province have actively supported individuals, organizations, and businesses to participate in digital consumer platforms. Thereby, people and businesses have integrated into the e-commerce trend, actively promoting products to domestic and foreign consumers.

Through various forms of connection, trade, and promotion, many agricultural, industrial, and handicraft products of the province have been displayed and introduced at fairs, product display booths, supply-demand connection conferences, and domestic and foreign promotion exhibitions. These activities have become a bridge to promote cooperation between manufacturers, distributors, and consumers; an opportunity for businesses to meet, learn about, and introduce their local specialties to a large number of customers; and at the same time, easily share experiences in building brands and ways to expand the market.
