According to the report at the conference, in 2024, the total state budget revenue in the city will reach more than 7,800 billion VND (equal to 92% of the plan assigned by the province, 86.8% of the plan assigned by the city and 168% compared to the same period in 2023); the total value of handicraft production will reach 1,900 billion VND (equal to 123% of the plan assigned by the city, 138% compared to the same period in 2023).

The city ensures the maintenance of 7 new rural communes; focuses resources on building 2 communes (Dong Tuyen, Hop Thanh) to meet the criteria of advanced new rural communes; the average income of people in the communes reaches more than 54 million VND/year...

At the conference, delegates discussed and proposed many solutions to effectively implement the goals set for 2025, regarding: solutions in economic development, supporting people to overcome the effects of storm No. 3; arrangement and site clearance of Thong Nhat Industrial Park; solutions in urban management, environmental resources, etc.

Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trinh Xuan Truong suggested that the city should focus on implementing the following tasks: promoting cross-border e-commerce; taking the lead in digital transformation, administrative reform and site clearance; restructuring the community digital technology team; solving social issues well, focusing on building social housing, housing for people affected by natural disasters and poor households. At the same time, continue to strengthen foreign affairs to enhance the city's position...
