After more than 1 year of implementing the model in the town, monks, nuns and Buddhists have strictly complied with the provisions of the law, raised their vigilance, actively participated in the fight against all types of crimes and the movement of the People to protect national security; promptly reported on the emerging security and order situation in the area and created a spreading effect in the community.
The police force transferred documents and information on crime prevention and control propaganda on the zalo group of the Executive Board. Propaganda was organized in 14 sessions in the neighborhoods with 892 participants, including 427 Buddhists.
The guardian board and members of the model promptly exchanged and provided the police force with 19 pieces of information related to the security and order situation, helping the town police force handle, disperse, and make commitments for 3 small gambling spots; issue administrative fines for 3 fights; issue fines of 1,600,000 VND for 2 cases of teenagers swerving and revving their engines; arrest and handle 3 cases of 5 subjects illegally buying and selling drugs; 2 cases of 6 teenagers speeding and causing insecurity and disorder; 2 cases of 3 subjects stealing and stealing property and 4 traffic accidents. The town police made a file on 2 cases and transferred them to the district police for handling according to their authority.
In addition, Phuoc Hung Pagoda and the Board of Trustees also coordinated with the Provincial Police Movement Building Department, departments, branches, organizations, and neighborhoods to present 1 Great Solidarity house and 370 gifts to people in difficult circumstances, with a total value of 155 million VND.
On this occasion, the Director of the Provincial Police Department awarded certificates of merit to 2 groups and 2 individuals, and the Chairman of the District People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 6 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the construction and operation of the pilot model "Monks, nuns, and Buddhists of Phuoc Hung Pagoda participate in the movement of the whole people to protect national security" in the town.
