The attraction of "The Unique Way", a criminal police drama currently airing on VTV3

The film revolves around the story of Hong (Doan Quoc Dam) - a young man with great pain, losing both his parents and his only relative, his younger brother. After the great incident, Hong became a homeless child, and was taken home by Mrs. Moc (Meritorious Artist Nguyet Hang) - the second wife of the mafia boss who has now washed his hands of the sword, Le Toan. There is a special connection between Hong and Khuong (Duy Hung) - Le Toan's illegitimate child, which made Mr. Toan decide to adopt Hong. Not only that, Mr. Toan also trusted and chose Hong to run the Le family's business. However, that trust and nurturing did not make Hong forget the pain of losing her loved one in the past.

Hong followed the clues to find the truth about her parents' death and learned about the relationship between her adoptive father Le Toan and three trusted juniors at that time: Quan "old" (artist Vinh Xuong), Hung "khec" (Meritorious Artist Chi Trung) and Duong "muscle" (Meritorious Artist Ho Phong). Besides Le Toan who has retired, the remaining three are all notorious transnational drug lords with a gathering place in Ban May, and any one of them could be the one who brought tragedy to Hong's family.

While Hong follows the bosses to find answers, he does not know that all of his actions as well as the criminal group are under the police's surveillance. Lieutenant Colonel Long (Ha Viet Dung), Head of the Drug Investigation Department, is transferred from the province to support Phung (Bao Anh) - Head of the District Police, who is also Long's long-time friend.

“The Way” combines a political story with emotional elements, complex relationships, and humorous details. In “The Way”, there are dangerous situations, when the righteous side is full of strategy, sacrifice, and commitment to confront the smart, cunning, and brutal criminals, the pain, the struggle between conscience and hatred that is difficult to distinguish of Hong, and the mysteries in the psychological developments of the characters.

Interspersed between the tense battles of wits are the "comedy" moments from the naivety and "game-breaking" of Khuong "Lieu", Tan "Thai Tu" or Ly "Toet", creating appeal and a daily nature for a film genre that is considered dry.
