Realizing that in Son Ha and Quang Lac communes (Nho Quan), there are many Muong people living with many unique cultural features still preserved, some members (Travel Association) established Group Tours to come up with ideas, build and put into operation the product "Muong tours - Thien Ha cave" which opened in early March this year.
Mr. Hoang Binh Minh - founding member of Group Tours said that after one month of operation, "Muong tours - Thien Ha cave" has implemented activities such as: mobilizing Muong people (Quang Lac commune) to go to Tho Ha village (Son Ha commune) to establish a daily performance team and reenact daily activities in stilt houses. In addition, promoting communication work to connect and introduce tours and experience routes to domestic and international tourists, as well as connecting and introducing to domestic travel agencies. Groups Tours has welcomed many survey groups from Lao Cai, Hoa Binh, and Hanoi to visit Thien Ha Cave Tourist Area.
After attending "Muong tours - Thien Ha cave", Ms. Pham Thi Thuy, a teacher at Nguyen Cong Tru High School (Ninh Binh city) happily boasted: "I didn't think that just over 10 km from the city there would be a tourist area with wild natural beauty, where I could experience a unique cultural space imbued with Muong culture".
Ms. Thuy also shared that by participating in "Muong tours - Thien Ha cave", we were able to admire the unique cultural beauty of the Muong people's (original) stilt houses, experience folk games with the mass art troupes, play "cu" (spinning bamboo sticks), walk on stilts, dance with bamboo poles... and enjoy typical dishes of the Muong ethnic group such as wild boar meat, bitter bamboo shoots, traditional cakes of the people...
It can be said that the culinary beauty of the Muong ethnic group is also a "bright spot" that cannot be ignored. The people here have unique and diverse ingredients partly thanks to the vast mountains and forests. Anyone who has ever enjoyed these dishes will certainly not be able to forget its distinctive flavor that cannot be found anywhere else. The echoing sound of gongs, graceful dances, songs, the sweet aroma of rice wine... create a unique, rich, distinctive cultural identity that attracts and captivates many tourists.
Representative of Thien Ha Tourist Area, Mr. Ha Huy Loi happily said: Previously, there were many tourists coming to Thien Ha Cave, but it was still passive, but now Group Tours "promoted it to a tour" because the number of domestic and international tourists coming to Tho Ha village is increasing and becoming more diverse. In particular, this tour also attracts international tourists because they love the peaceful countryside, the rustic and hospitable features of Vietnamese people, and the diversity of Vietnamese cultural traditions.
According to research by British scientists, Thien Ha Cave is a living cave complex. The development of geological layers here is still going strong. The most obvious manifestation is the development of stalagmites in the cave, which are continuously eroded by water drops, creating majestic and magical stalactites. In particular, the cave is almost completely pristine with tens of thousands of bats living there.
"Muong tours - Thien Ha cave" is an attractive product because it has many advantages, which is the combination of Thien Ha cave tour with experiences of activities such as: Cooking class, cycling, farming... or learning about some factors related to geology, archaeological sites... In that cultural space, visitors can experience, connect with nature, blend in with the colorful and rich Muong culture. It can be said that Muong ethnic culture has contributed to the diversity of the Vietnamese ethnic community.
