At the conference, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Tran Kim Yen acknowledged and highly appreciated the results and achievements of the Party Committee of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs during the first half of the term to implement the Congress Resolution.

In the coming time, Ms. Tran Kim Yen suggested that the Department Party Committee continue to review the main tasks and targets of the Resolution of the Department Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025, lead and direct the implementation from now until the end of the term, ensuring to achieve and exceed the set targets; focus on leading the implementation of unfinished targets and tasks, which are difficult targets to achieve and require a breakthrough in the implementation organization. “In addition, continue to effectively lead the implementation of programs, projects, and plans submitted to the City People's Committee, the Department's work program, and the industry's targets; advise on the effective implementation of social security work, care for beneficiaries, and effectively implement sustainable poverty reduction work,” Ms. Tran Kim Yen emphasized.
Previously, the report at the conference stated that in the past half term, the Department Party Committee successfully implemented 14/15 targets, goals and tasks of the Resolution of the 8th Department Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025.
At the same time, 213/226 targets and tasks submitted to the City People's Committee and the Department's work program basically met the set schedule, reaching 94.24%; paying attention to leading and directing the implementation of Tet care work, ensuring Tet reaches every home; providing thoughtful and timely care for policy beneficiaries, people with revolutionary contributions, poor households, near-poor households, workers, disadvantaged laborers, children orphaned by Covid-19, etc.

Concluding the conference, Party Secretary, Director of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Ho Chi Minh City Le Van Thinh requested the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, the Party Executive Committee and heads of agencies and units to strengthen their responsibilities, proactively review and closely follow assigned tasks; focus on solving problems and contents that people, businesses, cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, workers, and management subjects at units are interested in as a basis for inspection and evaluation of cadres.
At the same time, continue to promote and strengthen administrative reforms, lead and direct the improvement of public service quality, digital transformation associated with promoting emulation and reward activities, periodically giving extraordinary rewards when there are special initiatives and creativity.
In addition, resolutely prevent, repel, and strictly handle cadres and party members who have degraded political ideology, ethics, and lifestyle, and show signs of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" associated with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and lifestyle; promote democracy, raise sense of responsibility, set examples, and the spirit of serving the people of cadres, civil servants, and public employees.
