The Department of Preventive Medicine recommends that provinces and cities proactively implement measures to prevent and control epidemics, prevent outbreaks and spread, and minimize the number of infections and deaths. Specifically, units closely monitor the situation of patients in the area, grasp outbreaks, and thoroughly handle outbreaks as soon as they are detected, to prevent outbreaks. Organize and implement environmental sanitation campaigns, kill mosquito larvae (wrigglers) to prevent and control dengue fever in the area and maintain activities once a week in high-risk areas, once every 2 weeks in areas with high mosquito, wriggler, and wriggler indexes, and once a month in the remaining areas.

The Department of Preventive Medicine also requested the provincial and municipal health departments to direct medical examination and treatment facilities to organize the admission and treatment of patients well, minimizing deaths due to dengue fever. Avoid the situation where patients do not receive timely consultation, emergency care, treatment and referral, and at the same time have a plan to allocate treatment routes, support lower levels, and avoid hospital overload. In addition, the department also requested the provincial and municipal health departments to report to the provincial People's Committee to arrange and supplement funding for dengue fever prevention and control.
