Method 1: Look up through the exam management system of the Ministry of Education and Training

Method 2: Look up through the websites of the Department of Education and Training

The local Department of Education and Training will provide exam scores to candidates. Candidates can look up their exam results on the websites of the Department of Education and Training. After knowing the scores, candidates can calculate their high school graduation scores as follows:

For high school students, the graduation exam score (GPA) is calculated according to the following formula:

High school graduation exam score = {(Total score of 4 high school graduation exams + total incentive score)/4 x 7 + average score of the whole year of grade 12 x 3}/10 + priority points.

In there:

– Total score of 4 exams including: Math + Literature + English + average score of the combined exam;

– Average score for the entire 12th grade year: Calculated by the formula (GPA of semester 1 + GPA of semester 2×2)/3;

– Priority points include: Priority points for subjects and priority points for regions.

For students studying the high school continuing education program, the formula for calculating GPA is as follows:

Average score = {(Total score of 3 high school graduation exams/3 + total incentive score/4) x 7 + average score of the whole year of grade 12 x 3}/10 + priority points.

In which, total score of 3 exams: Math + Literature + average score of combined exam.

Candidates who take all the subjects, no subject with a score of 1 or lower, and a total score of 5 or higher will be eligible for graduation recognition. Candidates can submit an application for review of their exam from July 17 to 26. By July 23 at the latest, high schools will issue temporary graduation certificates, print and send the exam result certificates to candidates.

From July 18 to 5:00 p.m. on July 30, candidates can register, adjust, and add admission wishes an unlimited number of times. From July 22 to 5:00 p.m. on July 31, candidates applying for direct admission must confirm their admission on the system (if any).

From July 31 to 5:00 p.m. on August 6, candidates pay the admission fee according to the number of admission wishes online, following the instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Before 5:00 p.m. on August 19, training institutions will notify candidates who have passed the first round of admission and before 5:00 p.m. on August 27, candidates will confirm their admission online for the first round on the system.

The 2024 high school graduation exam will be organized basically stable as in the 2020-2023 period. The Ministry of Education and Training will provide general instructions, and the provinces/cities directly under the Central Government will preside over all exam organization work in the locality.
