On November 20, the Center for VocationalEducation - Continuing Education of Lang Giang District (Bac Giang) celebrated Vietnamese Teachers' Day on November 20 and its 30th anniversary. Attending the ceremony were Mr. Mai Son - Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of the Department of Education and Training (DET), the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, the People's Committee of Lang Giang District and many generations of staff, teachers and students of the Center.

At the ceremony, delegates, teachers and students of the Center reviewed the process of establishment and development of the Center. Accordingly, in 1997, Lang Giang District Continuing Education Center was established under the Department of Education and Training. In 2016, Lang Giang District Continuing Education Center changed its name to Lang Giang District Continuing Education Center. The Center is responsible for teaching culture and vocational training to students in the district.
After 30 years of construction and development, the Center's facilities have been invested in and built spaciously and modernly with an area of nearly 11,000 m2 . The classrooms are solidly and modernly built to basically meet the needs of teaching and learning; 100% of the classrooms and practice rooms are equipped with 75-inch TVs; 3 computer rooms are equipped with 75 computers with internet connection... All subjects meet the general education innovation program.
In the 2024-2025 school year, the Center has 65 staff, teachers, and nearly 1,500 students studying in 32 cultural classes and 47 vocational classes. 100% of students studying at the Center participate in vocational training. The staff and teachers constantly learn and improve their professional qualifications and skills; actively innovate teaching methods in a learner-centered direction. Thanks to that, the quality of education and training here is increasingly improved, partly meeting the needs of local labor force. The Center also actively coordinates with colleges - intermediate schools, businesses inside and outside the province to support output for students after graduation, with the employment rate of graduates reaching over 90%.

Speaking at the ceremony, Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Mai Son congratulated and praised the efforts of generations of teachers and students of the Center throughout the process of construction and development, and expressed gratitude to all teachers at the Center.
He hoped that teachers and students of the Center would promote their achievements, continue to unite, innovate and be creative in teaching and learning, and pay special attention to educating students in ethics, lifestyle and life skills so that they can become a new generation of citizens, living with ideals and ambitions, loving their homeland and country; living responsibly towards themselves, their families and society.
In addition, we pay attention to expanding and diversifying the training codes and occupations to suit the needs of the labor market. We strengthen cooperation with businesses to develop practical training programs; organize internships and vocational skills training; and increase the employment rate of students.
At the same time, continue to invest in facilities, apply new technology, especially artificial intelligence (AI) technology in teaching and learning. Pay attention to and develop the teaching staff, improve professional capacity and pedagogical skills, meet the requirements of cultural education and vocational education.
He requested that local Party committees, authorities, mass organizations and people continue to pay practical attention and invest in vocational education and continuing education. Students compete in studying and contributing to the development of their homeland and country.

On this occasion, the Minister of Education and Training awarded Certificates of Merit to 3 groups and 9 individuals; the Department of Education and Training awarded Certificates of Merit to 4 individuals with outstanding achievements in the process of building and developing the school. Many groups and individuals were awarded by the Chairman of the Bac Giang Education Trade Union and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Lang Giang district.
