Opening of the 2025 Bac Giang Provincial Youth and Children's Football Tournament

On the morning of February 21, the Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Youth Council of Bac Giang coordinated with the Department of Education and Training to organize the opening ceremony of the 2025 Bac Giang Provincial Youth and Children's Football Tournament. Attending the opening ceremony were representatives of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Department of Education and Training, the Provincial Youth Union and more than 200 athletes of the football teams and a large number of people coming to cheer.

Delegates presented souvenir flags to the teams participating in the tournament.

The 2025 Bac Giang Provincial Youth and Children's Football Tournament is the 5th time the Provincial Youth Union has coordinated with the Department of Education and Training to organize a healthy and useful playground for students; promote the movement of physical exercise and sports among union members and students; improve physical and mental health, actively serve the learning task, meet the spiritual needs of students; is an opportunity for teenagers and children to exchange, learn and share experiences, strengthen the solidarity and close relationship between students in primary and secondary schools. At the same time, this is also an opportunity for the Organizing Committee to discover the best athletes, representing Bac Giang province to participate in sports competitions organized by the Central Youth Union and the Ministry of Education and Training.

The athletes competed fiercely and nobly.

The tournament has 20 best teams from primary and secondary schools representing 10 districts, towns and cities selected from the district-level competition. Each group consists of 10 teams divided into 3 groups, competing in a round-robin format. From there, the 4 teams with the best results will continue to compete in the semi-finals and compete for the championship. The tournament takes place from February 21 to February 24.

At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee will award 1 First Prize, 1 Second Prize, 2 Third Prizes to the best teams and individual prizes such as: Best Player, Best Goalkeeper, Player with the most goals for the best individuals of the tournament.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, the secondary school matches took place: Bac Giang city met Luc Nam district; Hiep Hoa district met Lang Giang district. Before that, there were 2 matches, in which Yen The district secondary school won 2-1 against Tan Yen district secondary school; Chu town secondary school won 1-0 against Viet Yen town secondary school.

This afternoon, the primary school matches will take place with the participation of the following teams: Bac Giang City, Yen The, Lang Giang, Son Dong, Luc Nam, Tan Yen, Luc Ngan districts, and Chu town. /.
