On the morning of October 16, the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province held a ceremony to honor and reward student Vo Quang Phu Duc - Champion of the Road to Olympia 2024. Attending the program were leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province, Vo Quang Phu Duc's parents and many teachers and students of Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted where he is studying.
Previously, at the Road to Olympia 2024 Final on October 13, Vo Quang Phu Duc competed with great courage, surpassing 3 other contestants to win the championship with a score of 220. This is the 3rd laurel wreath after 7 times bringing the Road to Olympia final to the locality of Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted in particular and of Thua Thien Hue province in general at this playground.
The champion of Road to Olympia 2024 was commended and rewarded by the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province for his outstanding achievements.
With the above achievements, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province awarded a certificate of merit and the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province awarded 40 million VND to Vo Quang Phu Duc.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong, Chairman of the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province, emphasized that achieving the laurel wreath at the Road to Olympia Finals in 2024 is a very worthy achievement for the efforts of Vo Quang Phu Duc. The successes of Vo Quang Phu Duc are a strong source of inspiration for many other young people.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province sent his thanks to Vo Quang Phu Duc, his parents, and teachers at the schools he attended. Especially the teachers at Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted who have always cared for, supported, and created all conditions for him to develop and shine his talent, bringing honor to his hometown Thua Thien Hue.
Besides, we also commend the efforts of the Departments and branches that created a grand atmosphere at Ngo Mon Square, helping Vo Quang Phu Duc gain more motivation, confidence, victory and promote the image of Thua Thien Hue province on the way to becoming a centrally-run city to domestic and international friends.

Sharing at the ceremony, Vo Quang Phu Duc sent his thanks to the provincial leaders, parents, teachers, and friends who have always cared, supported, and accompanied him in the process of conquering the Road to Olympia in 2024; sincerely thanked the organizing units and especially the more than 8,000 students and teachers present at Ngo Mon Square to cheer for him.
"My future dream is to become a computer programmer to try to contribute as much as possible to society and to the development of technology in Vietnam," Vo Quang Phu Duc shared.
