Phu Yen Power Company has just organized propaganda and dissemination of legal regulations on fire prevention and fighting and conducted a fire prevention and fighting, rescue and relief drill in 2023 for 41 officers and workers of the company's Fire Prevention and Fighting Team and Tuy Hoa Power Company Fire Prevention and Fighting Team.
The drill took place at Tuy Hoa Power Company under the supervision of the officers of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of the Provincial Police. Accordingly, officers and workers participated in the drill with simulated situations of extinguishing homemade fires using gasoline and oil in drums with wet blankets and oil on trays with CO2 cylinders; rescuing people trapped in the fire area, and bringing victims out of the danger zone.
The drill helped officers and employees raise awareness and compliance with State regulations on fire prevention and fighting, promote the role and responsibility of each individual to proactively prevent, detect and promptly handle risks and conditions that may cause fire and explosion at the unit. This activity also enhanced the ability to coordinate between the grassroots fire prevention and fighting force and the professional fire fighting force in handling fire, explosion, and accident situations that may occur, gradually meeting the requirements of fire and explosion management and prevention.
