(Baoquangngai.vn) - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hoang Giang emphasized that the 80th Anniversary of Ba To Uprising (1945 - 2025) and the 50th Anniversary of Quang Ngai Province Liberation Day (1975 - 2025) are major events of the province in 2025, so agencies, units and localities need to focus on performing well the assigned tasks.
That was the direction of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hoang Giang at the meeting of the Subcommittee on content and fundraising for organizing activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Ba To Uprising (March 11, 1945 - March 11, 2025) and the 50th anniversary of Quang Ngai Province Liberation Day (March 24, 1975 - March 24, 2025) on the afternoon of February 18.

According to the report of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, up to this point, the content preparation work has been deployed and basically completed by the departments. In particular, the Provincial People's Committee's staff issued an official dispatch requesting Vietnam Television to broadcast live the 80th Anniversary of Ba To Uprising and 50th Anniversary of Quang Ngai Liberation Day on VTV1 channel. Coordinate with Vietnam Television Center for the Central - Central Highlands region (VTV8) to develop scripts, programs, stage design, sound, lighting, stands, delegate seating diagrams, etc.

Other activities such as announcing and awarding the First Class Labor Medal to the people and officials of Quang Ngai province and the Second Class Fatherland Protection Medal to the Provincial Military Command at the Ceremony have also been scripted in detail. At the meeting, delegates discussed and commented on the budget estimates for organizing the anniversary activities of relevant agencies and units. Estimated budget for calling for socialization from organizations, individuals and businesses. Delegates also commented on the list of delegates invited to attend the anniversary; assigned tasks to members of the Content Subcommittee, and mobilized sponsorship.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hoang Giang noted that departments, branches and localities need to closely follow the assigned tasks and strengthen coordination to perform well the assigned tasks. For activities in Ba To district, the locality needs to coordinate with the Provincial Military Command to organize well. The preparation of gifts for policy families also needs to be carefully coordinated. The Management Board of Dung Quat Economic Zone and Quang Ngai Industrial Parks coordinate with enterprises to prepare well the groundbreaking ceremony of projects in the area. The 80th Anniversary of Ba To Uprising and the 50th Anniversary of Quang Ngai Liberation Day are major events of the province in 2025, so agencies, units and localities need to focus on performing well the assigned tasks.
