On the morning of November 20, Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Lam Thi Huong Thanh attended the ceremony to receive the First Class Labor Medal and celebrate the 42nd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day at Thang Town Kindergarten (Hiep Hoa). Also attending were Director of the Department of Education and Training Ta Viet Hung; leaders of Hiep Hoa district and a large number of staff, teachers and students of the school.
Thang Town Kindergarten was established on the basis of merging Hoa Phuong Kindergarten and Thang Town Kindergarten. Over the years, the school has always followed the direction of the province and district, organized and thoroughly trained staff and teachers to improve their knowledge and skills, and effectively perform the tasks of managing, caring for, and educating children.
In the 2024-2025 school year, the school has 700 students in classes from 3 to 5 years old; the rate of mobilizing 5-year-old children to attend class is 100%; the school's facilities are invested in and improved, creating a safe and healthy learning environment for preschool students. In the 2021-2025 period, the school was selected by the Department of Education and Training to build a model of a child-centered school, introducing children to English; the model of "Collective kitchen ensuring food safety in the 2023-2027 period"; a model of organizing for children to become familiar with English...
The school has 42 cadres, teachers and employees with good political qualities and ethics; the number of excellent teachers at district and provincial levels of the school is always over 70%, ranking first in Hiep Hoa district and in the top 5 schools in Bac Giang province. For 10 consecutive years, the school has been recognized as meeting the standards of universal preschool education.
With its achievements, in the 2022-2023 school year, the school was awarded the Government's Emulation Flag by the Prime Minister, and in the 2023-2024 school year, the school was awarded the First Class Labor Medal. The school is considered a pioneer in improving the quality of child care, nurturing and education, becoming a trusted address for parents and people in Hiep Hoa district.
Speaking at the ceremony, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and Provincial People's Committee , Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Lam Thi Huong Thanh commended and acknowledged the continuous efforts and congratulated the achievements of the teaching staff of Thang Town Kindergarten in the past time.
Faced with the requirement of innovation in Education and Training, to continue to develop and improve the quality of child care and education, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council requested the School Board to continue to innovate comprehensively, strongly and deeply in all areas of work.
